Media Player ar Wine

Must prepare before:  Wine lietojumu vide

Media Player ir bezmaksas programmatūra, līdz ar to, to var brīvi izmantot, tajā skaitā arī uz Linux.
Viena no idejām, kāpēc uz Linux vajadzētu Windows Media Player, ir digitālās tiesību pārvaldības (DRM) standarts.

Media Player var uzlikt, izmantojot Wine, lai arī tas ir piņķerīgi (WineHQ-MediaPlayer). Tomēr ar DRM saturu tas nedarbosies.

Līdz ar to vienīgā iespēja, kā to paciest, ir izmantot reālu vai VmWare Player Windows.
