If it is not explicitly told in following recipe, setting up services are described for Ubuntu 20.04 server, but applications are described for Xubuntu 20.04 workstation. If you use different Ubuntu version or Linux distribution, settings as well as content, names and places of configuration files may be different!

Uztādīšana

  1. Lejuplādē jaunāko failu no http://www-unix.mcs.anl.gov/%7Egawor/ldap/

  2. Atarhivē un pārvieto uz /usr/local/bin:

    cd /home/student/Downloads
    gunzip Browser282b2.tar.gz
    tar xvf Browser282b2.tar
    mv ldapbrowser/ /usr/local/bin/

  3. Pievieno izpildes tiesības failam lbe.sh:

    chmod +x /usr/local/bin/ldapbrowser/lbe.sh

Aktivizēšana

  1. Kā lietotājs komandrindā izpilda failu:

    /usr/local/bin/ldapbrowser/lbe.sh
