The first four composition ("Tādas tās lietiņas", "Uz priekšu, pakaļ dakterim", "Kur tie tiek, kas skrien" and "Vaše vremja isteklo"), I wrote in far 1990, when I learned in secondary school. These compositions were collected in symphony "Kāda notikuma vēsture". These compositions (and all further, except variations and arrangements) are written in rarely used C# major. Thanks to my musical teacher Baiba Pētersone, who pushed me in this adventure.
"Vecais leijerkastnieks" and "4 akordu tēma" were composed in 1993, when I studied for physics bachelor. Thanks to Vitauts Namnieks, accompanist of dance group "Stīvumiņš", who helped me with equipment and advice.
"Variācijas par BACH" and "Fantāzija" are written in 2003. In this time all previous compositions were reworked in the current format. Thanks tom my wife Ieva, who lived through my creative period. As reward I wrote her composition "Sievai Ievai".
"Lullabies" are composed in 2003. As a cause of inspiration was my daughter Ada Paula.
Unfortunately in last time I have no time to return back in music. Though I hope that I'll compose some song for my second daughter Una Lote.
